What it connects​

WhatsApp Business lets approved senders submit receipt photos from chat into Igdrasil.

What Igdrasil imports or exports​

  • Registers sender phone numbers.
  • Receives receipt photos.
  • Routes accepted documents into archive or accounting review based on sender settings.

Requirements​

Decide which employees or contractors may submit receipts and whether their messages should create accounting candidates by default.

Connect steps​

  1. Open Workspace, then Integrations.
  2. Select WhatsApp Business.
  3. Add approved sender numbers.
  4. Choose the processing intent for each sender.
  5. Send a test receipt photo.

First sync checks​

Confirm the photo appears in File Archive and, if enabled, in Bookkeeping review.

Daily use​

Use WhatsApp for quick receipt capture when card users are away from the desktop workflow.

Troubleshooting​

If a receipt does not arrive, confirm the sender number is registered and the attachment was sent as an image.

Disconnect and data handling​

Removing a sender blocks future submissions from that number. Existing receipt evidence remains in the workspace.
