GitHub will connect engineering issue and pull request references to finance evidence, controls, and cost reporting.

What Igdrasil imports or exports​

  • Links pull requests and issues to internal controls.
  • Adds engineering context to monthly cost and audit records.

Requirements​

Identify which repositories and issue labels are relevant to finance evidence.

Connect steps​

  1. Open Workspace, then Integrations.
  2. Select GitHub.
  3. Review the planned audit-reference workflow.
  4. Like the integration if it should be prioritized.

First sync checks​

When enabled, attach one pull request to an internal control and confirm the reference is visible in review.

Daily use​

Use GitHub references when finance workflows need traceability to engineering changes or incidents.

Troubleshooting​

If references are hard to find, reduce repository scope and standardize labels for finance-relevant work.

Disconnect and data handling​

Disconnecting stops future GitHub reference sync. Existing linked references remain in Igdrasil.
