Bank Transactions

What this screen is for

Bank Transactions is for reviewing imported bank activity. Use it to check payments, match transactions to accounting records, and identify unmatched cash movement.

Before you start

Confirm the bank feed or import is current. Know the account, date range, and payment reference you expect to review.

Basic walkthrough

  1. Open Bank Transactions from the Data tab.
  2. Review the transaction list for unmatched or newly imported rows.
  3. Open a transaction and compare the amount, date, and description to the expected document or ledger item.
  4. Match the transaction to the correct bookkeeping record when available.
  5. Leave unmatched transactions visible for follow-up instead of guessing.

What to check next

Use Payments Due for supplier payment follow-up. Use Bookkeeping when a transaction needs a new accounting entry or document review.
