What it connects​

Slack will connect Igdrasil notifications to finance, approval, and operations channels.

What Igdrasil imports or exports​

  • Sends approval requests, failed import alerts, and month-end reminders.
  • Routes workspace events to selected Slack channels.

Requirements​

Identify the Slack workspace, finance channels, and notification owners before enabling the connection.

Connect steps​

  1. Open Workspace, then Integrations.
  2. Select Slack.
  3. Review the planned alert workflow.
  4. Like the integration if it should be prioritized.

First sync checks​

When enabled, send one approval notification and confirm the channel, message content, and action link.

Daily use​

Use Slack alerts for workflow prompts that should reach the finance team without checking Igdrasil first.

Troubleshooting​

If alerts are noisy, reduce channel scope and keep only high-signal approval or failure events enabled.

Disconnect and data handling​

Disconnecting stops future Slack notifications. Igdrasil keeps the underlying workflow records.
